Request an Appointment

A notary public is required to certify to the identity of the signer of a document.

Identity is established if the notary public is presented with satisfactory evidence of the signer’s identity.  The notary public can establish the identity of the signer using identification documents that are current or were issued within the last 5 years.

Identification provided must contain the following:


  • a photograph
  • a description of the person
  • the signature of the person
  • an identifying number
